Over the past couple of days, we have collected a couple of informative and emotional stories from LGBTI refugees and activists around the world.

Iraq:

Ali is an Iraqi asylum seeker and LGBTI activist. He and his family were threatened with death for his work with LGBTI Iraqis.

Melvin is a gay male prostitute working to support he and his sister in Kenya. His story shows the multi-faceted obstacles of persecution, discrimination, and health risks faced by struggling homosexuals in poverty.
